I was glad the Board listened on July 29 and sent the previous draft back to the drawing board. I am asking you to make sure whatever replaces it is strict and specific rather than a set of minimum guidelines.

The protections that matter most to me are:

  1. Closed-loop cooling only, with no access to our public water supply.
  2. A binding noise limit measured at the property line, including low-frequency noise.
  3. A written guarantee that data center power costs cannot be passed on to Henry County ratepayers.
  4. Independent water testing before, during, and after any construction.
